SUMMARY:Children's Foil Beginner Course
DESCRIPTION:Our beginner fencing course is the perfect way to learn the sport from the ground up and develop the skills you need to fence with confidence. The course runs from 22nd September to 20th October and costs £120. \nOver the course of five weeks\, our experienced coaches will guide you through the fundamentals of fencing\, from basic footwork and blade technique to tactics\, strategy and putting your skills into practice on the piste. Each session builds on what you have learned previously\, allowing you to develop your fencing step by step in a fun and supportive environment. \nYou will learn how to move effectively on the piste\, attack and defend\, use the basic fencing actions and understand the principles behind a fencing bout. As your skills develop\, you will have plenty of opportunities to fence with other beginners and put your new techniques into practice. \nNo previous fencing experience is required. We provide all the necessary fencing equipment\, so just bring yourself\, some refreshments and wear your usual sports clothes. Long trousers are a must! \nIf you have already enjoyed one of our taster sessions\, this course is the perfect next step.
