High quality fencing and competitive spirit on show at latest club competition

We had a fantastic turnout of 21 fencers in the latest Mixed Foil Club Competition. After some competetive poule and DE matches, the Semi-Final matches were Felix Berndorfer vs. Tudor Prutica and Moyo Adesanya vs. Harry Roberts. In the first match, the score was tight up to the wire. Felix ended up taking the win, finishing the fight 15-14. It was a similar story in the second match, with both fencers getting 14 touches, but it was Moyo who ended up getting the final hit and moving on to the final.  The final was a strong conclusion to the competition and Felix managed to fight his way to winning and receiving the all important box of chocolates. Congratulations to Felix and all the other competitors. A deserved honourable mention goes to Teagan Williams-Stewart for being the highest placing women’s competitor, finishing in 5th place.
