Salle Paul Phoenix sabre duo represent at Senior World Cup in Tashkent

The only two fencers to represent GBR at this competition were Maria Chart and Jenna Bray

In Maria’s poule she won two of her matches and lost four of them. This seeded her 98th after the poule and the first person cut was seed 97, meaning very unfortunately she didn’t make it through to the knockout rounds.

Jenna didn’t manage to win in her poule but proved to be competitive in every bout she fenced in. She didn’t make it through to the DEs but showed that she can fight against any level of fencer.
