Huge congratulations to Gemma on winning bronze at the Leaning Tower Para Fencing World Cup!
In epee:
Gemma Collis won bronze! She was exempted from the poule matches as she was in the top 6. She made it directly to the DE rounds. She had a bye in the L32. In the L16, she fenced against Ka Man Lam and won 15-6. In the L8. she won 15-6 against Cassiopee Bourgine (FRA), and made it to the semi-finals, where she lost to Linor Kelman, securing the third position.
Emily Holder went 5V1D in the poule matches, and had a bye through the L32. In the L16, she lost to Ludmila Vasilieva.
Samantha Kagoya-Muganwa went 2V4D in the poule matches and also made it to the DE rounds. In the L16, she lost to Viktoria Boykova.
In foil:
Emily Holder went 3V1D in the poule matches and made it to the DE rounds. In the L16, she fenced against Viktoria Boykova and lost.
Gemma Collis went 4V1D in the poule matches and had a bye through the L32. In the L16, she lost to Sofia Garnero (ITA).
In sabre:
Samantha Kagoya-Muganwa went 3V2D in the poule matches and made it to the DE rounds. In the L32, she lost to Kristina Fisklistava.
Emily Holder went 1V4D in the poule matches and also made it to the DE rounds. In the L32, she lost to Cecile Demaude (FRA).
Gemma Collis was exempted from the poule matches as she was in the top 6 and made it directly to the DE rounds.She had a bye in the L32. In the L16, she lost to Loredana Trigilia (ITA).
