Veteran team takes trip to Belgium

We had three of our fencers take part in the team competition in Ghent. Simon Pink, Hugh Kernohan and Jeremy Baker were our members in the team. In the poule they fenced against the local Ghent team, Confreriel and won 45-26. Their second bout was against Dutch side, S.V.LAssaillant. They got a bye into the L16 and came up against S.V.LAssaillant again, winning the match 45-27. Their L8 was against another Belgium side, Wezowski. It was an extremely tight bout but unfortunately the team couldn’t move on to the next round and lost the match 45-42.
