William Ferguson won gold! He went 4V1D in the poule matches and had a bye through the L32. In the L16, he fenced against George Boden and won 15-10. In the L8, he won 15-8 against Steven Bateman and made it to the semi-finals where he won 15-11 against Maxwell Rowe-Haynes. In the final, he won 15-14 against Marc Burkhalter, securing the first position.
