Salle Paul Phoenix Foilist George Keogh and Epeeists, Richard Roseblade & Jacob Pritchard compete at the York Open

In the Senior Mixed Foil event we had George Keogh representing the club. In his poule round, George managed to come away with 2 victories and 3 defeats. Seeded 25th, he met Victor Muniz in the L64 where he comfortably won 15-5. In the L32 George faced Joseph Blair and exited the competition, losing 15-11.

In the Senior Mixed Epee event we had two fencers: Richard Roseblade and Jacob Pritchard.

Richard went 4V1D in his poule. He got a bye through the L64 and met Cailean Stewart in the L32. This was a very tight match, however Richard came away with a win of 12-11. In the L16 he had Connor Dorrell where he lost 15-6.

Jacob won two and lost three in his poule. In the L64 he beat Francis Stoyles 15-7. In his L32 Jacob also met Connor Dorrell and lost the match 15-12.
