Bevan Fullerton competes at LPJS in Truro

Having never competed before, Bevan travelled to Cornwall to fence in the U14 category of the Truro LPJS. He took part in two poule rounds, winning a match in each of them. In the L16 he fenced against Caleb Parnwell. He began the match by going 6-0 at the break but managed to get back into it by going on a streak of winning touches. The bout finished 12-8 to Caleb but Bevan gained a lot of useful experience from his first competition and showed resilience when the going got tough.
