Silver medal for Yousif Wagdi!

U14 Boys’ Foil

Yousif Wagdi began the tournament by winning 3 and losing 2 in his poule. He was seeded 4th going into the DEs and got a bye through the L16. In the L8 he met Luca Nambisan and won the match decisively, finishing it 12-3. His Semi-Final match was against Marcus Lee and Yousif put in another strong showing, winning 12-5. His day finished in the final, where he lost to Theodor Schaeffer 12-5. This concluded a great competition from Yousif and he can be happy to end it with a Silver Medal.

Shihan Wang got 2V3D in his poule. In the L16 he fenced against Hayden Yuen and he won the match 12-5. He lost his L8 bout against Marcus Lee by 12-6.

U14 Girls’ Foil

Eliyana Zakariya won one and lost four of her poule matches. In the L8 she fenced her teammate, Hei Yau Chan and won by 12-5. Her Semi-Final was against Zabel Garabedian and she lost the bout 12-3.

Hei Yau Chan won two and lost three in her poule. In the L8 she lost to her teammate Eliyana 12-5.

U10 Boys’ Foil

Hei Wang Chan didn’t manage to win a fight in the poule round. In the L16 he fenced against Scott Hawn and lost the match 10-3.
